The voice of ASRO members
Organisations from industry, infrastructure and construction on what it means to belong to the governance of standardisation.

The insulation industry is evolving rapidly, under the pressure of ever stricter requirements on energy efficiency, fire safety and sustainability. In this context, standardisation helps define performance benchmarks and strengthens confidence in construction products.
Belonging to ASRO’s governance and taking part in the technical committees give us the opportunity to contribute actively to developing standards and to aligning national standards with European ones, while staying connected to developments in the field.

Standards are the basis of the way MOL Romania carries out its business, defining the requirements for quality, safety and environmental protection.
By taking part in ASRO’s governance and in standardisation work on fuels and on gaseous and liquid combustibles, we support a standardisation process connected to the dynamics of the sector and to current requirements. This position gives us visibility of the regulatory developments relevant to our business.

Developing Romania’s road infrastructure requires uniform requirements in design and execution, and standards provide the necessary benchmarks in this process.
As an ASRO member, CNIR takes part in the decision-making processes of the national standardisation body and supports steering standardisation in line with society’s real needs. This position allows us to follow regulatory developments and to contribute to applying uniform requirements in infrastructure projects.

Taking part in ASRO helps us stay connected to developments in standardisation and to market requirements. Membership gives us direct access to information on standardisation at national and European level and, at the same time, the possibility to contribute to discussions in the governance structures and to support a direction of standardisation aligned with the realities of the construction sector.
