Standardisation, an activity of public interest, has not only a specific impact on national economy, but also a general importance regarding the society itself. The main objectives of National Standardisation Body are:
ASRO is involved in supporting the organizations in applying the standards through training courses and qualified assistance. Following these objectives, ASRO is taking part in the national effort for the preparation of the Romanian producers accessing into the European unique market. ASRO lecturers as well as its collaborators – Polytechnic University from Bucharest, Romanian Management Institute, Romanian Academy of Mathematics, Institute of Public Health Bucharest, National Institute of Metrology – have a high professional qualification. At the same time, ASRO creates a modern training framework containing the information and data processing course endowment and a dynamic and interactive training system which follow the direct involvement of participants through simulation case study for auditors using the adequate qualification. ASRO has the exclusive right to perform training, knowledge transfer, technical assistance and other similar services in the standardisation area.
